2023 ap exam

May 1–5 and May 8–12 will be the two weeks in 2023 during which the AP Exams will be given in classrooms. Students must be informed of when and where to report for the tests by AP coordinators. Under no circumstances is it permissible to test early or at times other than those announced by the College Board. If students are unable to test within the first two weeks of May, late testing dates are offered.

  • Students who want to take examinations that are scheduled for the same time should request alternate exams (late testing) from AP coordinators.
  • Between 8 and 9 a.m., schools must start the morning exam administration. The afternoon exam will be given between 12 and 1 p.m. local time. time zone. The start time for the AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Exam is between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. time zone. In Alaska, schools are required to start giving morning exams between 7 and 8 a.m. Exams are administered in the afternoon between 11 a.m. and noon local time. and 12 p.m. time zone. Alaska students must take the AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Exam between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. time zone.
  • Only students completing AP Seminar at a school taking part in the AP Capstone Diploma Program are eligible to take the course’s final exams.
  • The deadline is May 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
  • Students in AP Seminar and AP Research must complete performance tasks as their final grade, and their presentations will be graded by their respective AP Seminar or AP Research instructors.
  • Students taking the AP Computer Science Principles exam are required to turn in their final performance work.
