Water

Water is considered the most important acne eliminator. Drink lots of it regularly to keep your skin hydrated and help expel acne causing agents.

Green Tea

This is a great source of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory chemicals. Just in-case you’re wondering, antioxidants are substances that prevent damage. So, green tea helps clear the redness, puffiness, soreness of acne and also prevents further breakout.

Oatmeal

This when applied to irritated skin, soothes it and dries out acne-causing oil. Prepare a paste of the meal, use on the face and wash off.

Whole Grain

Whole grains like cereals (rice, maize, wheat, millet etc.), breads and pasta are good sources of selenium chemical which is excellent at clearing up acne and preventing further breakout.

Milk

Vitamin A and D in cow milk have both been proven to be good for healthy skin. Unless you’re lactose intolerant, there’s nothing keeping you from getting right on to that glass of milk.

Plain Yoghurt

Vitamin A in yogurt helps to heal acne and prevent further breakout. Apply cold plain yogurt to your face once a day for a minute and rinse off with warm water.
