After complete Three years, the memories of brave Indian soldiers still echos in our consciousness. Attack on Pulwama occurred on 14th Feb2019 in Jammu and Kashmir. During the attack, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying 100+kg of explosive into a bus carrying Indian Jawan. This attack left many critically wounded and took the life of 40 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) personnel.

In memory of the martyr of Pulwama attack, a memorial will be inaugurated at the Lethpora camp. The memorial along with the motto of Central Reserve Police Force – ‘Service and Loyalty’ is scheduled for Friday. The supreme sacrifice of the Jawan will never be forgotten and will serve as resolve to eliminate enemies of the country.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had also allowed the CRPF to carry troops by Air to avoid any possibility of any such attack in the future. This memorial will be set up inside a CRPF camp adjacent to the place where Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist blew himself next to a convoy of security forces and killed the personnel.

The memorial ceremony includes the inauguration of the martyr column and blood donation event. Although families of soldiers who lost their lives in attack will have private ceremonies at their homes. We celebrate Valentine Day on 14th Feb 2021 but we should never forget that far on borders our brave soldier stands day and night for our protection. Our cheerfulness and honesty are often mistaken as our weakness and our silence as a gateway to abuse.
