Twins who resemble humans are called Thing One and Thing Two in the book The Cat in the Hat. The cat brought in a box to introduce Conrad, Sally, and the fish, and they were let out. Later, the objects caused trouble by carelessly flying kites inside the house, which caused the wall to be bumped and also caused everything in their path to collapse. With a net, Conrad was able to stop the objects. The Cat took them as well and put them back in the box. They currently make an appearance in Rob Tinkler’s animated television series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!
