Check Out Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game’s Launch Day Trailer

After months of suspense, progressively cool-looking previews, and great gameplay reveals, Gun Interactive’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game is now available for purchase. Why are you reading on the internet when you could be slicing your closest pals to bloody ribbons with Leatherface’s (digital)’saw? What are we doing on the internet when we might be doing the same thing?

This is the launch trailer for Gun Interactive’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, an asymmetrical horror game that pits players against each other in a way that would make Tobe Hooper proud: each round features four “victims” attempting to escape the clutches of three Slaughter Family members (including the Cook, the Hitchhiker, and Leatherface himself). Environments from Hooper’s 1974 horror film have been meticulously reproduced by Gun, from the Slaughter homestead to a certain gas station you don’t want to eat at. As you can see above, it appears to be a lot of fun to play.

Where can you access it? Almost everywhere! The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. That should cover… almost everyone, right? (I apologize to anyone who was hoping for a Sega Genesis version; perhaps they’ll port it over eventually.)
