The Fast Forward Challenge is intended to find the best strategies for navigating and resolving global sustainability issues, with significant rewards for the winner, as part of The Era of Sustainable Logistics, an initiative that brings organisations together to usher in a new era for businesses with sustainable logistics at its core (s).

All you have to do is submit us a video pitch (no more than five minutes long) summarising your company, the issue you’re trying to address, and your strategy for doing so.

A jury of business leaders will hear the most promising ideas on February 23, 2023.

At our world summit in Valencia, Spain, on April 25–27, 2023, the winner will be given the opportunity to compete against other regional FFC Winners.

“We are honoured to be part of the second edition of The Fast Forward Challenge 2023, which focuses on sustainability and seeks to provide a progressive platform for logistics and e-commerce players to exhibit their innovative sustainability-focused solutions,” said Mohsen Ahmad, the CEO of Dubai South’s Logistics District, in recognition of the crucial role that FFC plays in giving businesses and innovators the tools they need to showcase their creative sustainability-focused solutions.

In accordance with the Deutsche Post DHL Group and the UAE’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, Mohsen stated that the Logistics District and EZDubai at Dubai South will complement the challenge of ongoing efforts “to incubate innovative ideas that will accelerate the industry’s sustainability endeavours, far and beyond.”

What is new?

This year’s Fast Forward Challenge is part of The Era of Sustainable Logistics initiative, a global effort to combat the rapidly worsening effects of climate change by uniting organisations to usher in a new era for business with sustainable logistics at its core. The initiative aims to give businesses a platform to showcase their cutting-edge sustainability-focused technologies and solutions to the world.

Fast Forward Challenge 2023: Sustainable Solutions Edition will be open to all enterprises, entrepreneurs, and organisations of all sizes aiming to support a more sustainable future for the logistics industry, unlike its previous iteration.

The challenge will be international this year, with simultaneous events taking place in Asia, Europe, and the Americas! By December 15, 2022, MEA applicants must submit a brief, five-minute video pitch summarising their company, the issue they hope to address, and the solution they propose.

Five teams that have been shortlisted will be invited to three mentorship nights so they may acquire the necessary coaching before pitching their ideas to a panel of influential decision-makers and industry leaders on February 23, 2023 at the DHL Innovation Center – MEA.

In order to compete against other regional FFC winners at the Global Sustainability Summit, which is scheduled to take place from April 25–27, 2023, the chosen Middle East winner will then be flown to Valencia, Spain. There, they will compete for a chance to win cash prizes,
