NEW DELHI: Pakistan-based terror groups plan “to target Prime Minister at the Ramlila ground on December 22” where he is scheduled to address a mega rally organised by the on the issue of the Centre’s move to regularise unauthorized colonies in Delhi, the Intelligence agencies have informed the Special Protection Group and the Delhi Police.

Central agencies have issued necessary instructions to security establishments regarding the security of PM Modi. It has asked to fully implement the instructions contained in the Blue Book for the protection of the Prime Minister. The agencies said that they have new inputs that the operatives of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed have been mobilized in India as part of the plot to kill the Prime Minister at Ramlila Maidan, where a huge crowd and presence of media personnel is expected.

Intelligence agencies told, ‘Citizenship Amendment Act (12 December). Apart from the decision of Ram Janmabhoomi (9 November) and the recent removal of Article 370 (5 August), The terrorists are disillusioned by the attack on the Jaish terror base by the Indian Air Force in Pakistan. Because of this, such an attack is being threatened.

Intelligence agencies said that Pakistan’s Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) continues to provide structural and other financial/logistic support to terrorist groups. A letter allegedly published by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in October 2019 by Lashkar-e-Taiba, The Indian Armed Forces in Jammu and Kashmir, has threatened to target Indian dignitaries, including the Prime Minister, to avenge the alleged excesses.
