First Coronavirus Death Reported From Haryana’s Ambala

The first death occurred due to coronavirus infection in Haryana. A 67-year-old elder of Ambala admitted to the PGI of Chandigarh died due to infection with COVID-19. The deceased has been identified as Harjit Singh Kohli, 67, residing in Timber Market, Ambala Cantonment. Harjit Singh Kohli breathed his last at PGI Chandigarh. Earlier, Harjit Singh underwent an examination at a private hospital in Ambala city.

After the symptoms of coronavirus were found, he reached the PGI for treatment from the civil hospital of the cantonment. CMO Ambala has confirmed this. On Wednesday, three positive people from Haryana recovered and reached home from the hospital. All three were admitted to Gurugram. With this, 13 people have been cured so far. According to the Health Department report, 65 suspects have been admitted to hospitals in 24 hours. 26 new samples have been taken.

A total of 29 case positives have been found so far in Haryana. Maximum 10 are from Gurugram. After this, 6 patients have been found in Faridabad, 4 in Panipat, 3 in Sirsa, 2 from Panchkula, 1-1 patients in Ambala, Palwal, Sonipat and Hisar. A total of 29 cases have been reported in Haryana.
