Just one day before his 54th birthday, on 8 September, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar lost his Aruna Bhatia. She had been uncomfortable for several days and was in ICU. Akshay, a shooter of his forthcoming London movie ‘Cinderella,’ flew to Mumbai after the condition of his mother began to deteriorate. Now, going to social media, Akshay shared with the tweet the news of his mother’s death, ‘She was my core. And today, at the very heart of my life, I feel an unbearable pain. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia left this world peacefully this morning and got together with my father in the other world. I respect your prayers as I go through this period with my family. Om Shanti. Om Shanti’. Actress and her ‘Airlift’ co-star Nimrat Kaur was one of the first movie fellows to condolence Akshay and his family as she wrote, ‘It is very regrettable that you have lost a lot of money.

Akshay was extremely attached to his mother and could not stay away while it was not good, so he suddenly decided to fly back to India. One source recently said, “Although he was with his mother, he told his producers to shoot with scenes that did not need his presence. His other work commitments continue as well. Despite any personal challenges, he has always believed that work must continue.” It’s no secret that Akshay was very close to Aruna Bhatia, his mother.
